In his new role, Wartels will be responsible for building business relationships with financial institutions, educating them about MRI's new subscription-based Web research portal, My Rates Insight (MyRI ). Wartels also will work with current subscribers to show them how to get more from Market Rates Insight's research and the new MyRI portal. Wartels will report to Dan Geller, Executive Vice President at MRI.

Wartels brings more than a decade of sales experience to Market Rates Insight. Most recently he served as an account executive with Parkside Lending LLC, a regional mortgage lender headquartered in San Francisco. Wartels also has worked as an account executive with GreenPoint Mortgage.
